To publish on the App Store, Apple requires your own Apple Developer Program membership. It costs $99 a year, and your apps are published under your name or your company's name.
Individual or organization?
Individual accounts are quicker to set up and show your personal name as the seller. Organization accounts show your company name and let you add team members, but need a D-U-N-S number for your company, which is free from Dun & Bradstreet and can take a few days to issue.
What you need
- An Apple Account with two-factor authentication turned on
- Your legal name and address, or your company's legal details and D-U-N-S number
- A payment card for the yearly fee
How to enroll
Enroll through the Apple Developer website or the Apple Developer app on your iPhone. Apple verifies your details, which usually takes one or two days for individuals and longer for organizations.
Submitting your app with an individual account
Individual accounts can't add our team as members for certificates, so Apple sends a two-factor code to your device when we sign in. Book an app submission session and we'll create your certificates and submit the app together, live.
